Rittenhouse Square

The Editor, Lyn Kratz, often known as the Diva of Darkness, did a late-night rock 'n roll radio show on WMMR, Philadelphia, from 1975-1980 and again from 1984-1996. Although most people knew her from her information-intensive Saturday midday show, it was the weeknight Night Hawks who knew and loved her best. She pioneered the "Night Shift Happy Hour" (food, booze and live bands between 8am and noon at local clubs). RockSpot is dedicated to night workers, musicians and other night crawlers everywhere.

Lyn recently completed her Master's degree in Library and Information Science at Drexel University and is now a reference librarian at the Wharton School's Lippincott Library at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
